列車で４時間かけてロンシャンにあるコルビジェの建てた教会へ

行きました。駅についてからも３０分かけてタクシーで山の上まで・・・

そのロケーションは教会にふさわしいものでした。

夜はカウンドダウンを凱旋門～シャンゼリゼ通りで迎えました

みんなワインのボトル持参で飲み明かしてました

イルミネーションも１８００ｍ続くシャンゼリゼ通りを飾り

エッフェル塔も光輝き、印象深い年明けとなりました

パリにやって来ました。ステンドグラスが宝石箱の様なサントシャペルの

礼拝堂、牢獄に使っていたとは思えないアーチの陰影が美しい

コンシェルジュリー、ノートルダム大聖堂、ルーブル美術館

エッフェル塔、どこを見ても絵画を見ているみたいです

x'mas market

クリスマスマーケットは駅前やちょっとした広場で小規模の
ものが多く見受けられます。しかもクリスマス後も１月３日
辺りまで開催されているのが普通のようです。

英国生まれのジョーマローン、昔はカスタムメイドのみの
ラグジュアリーな香水でしたが、今ではちょっとお高いですが
手に入り易くなって嬉しいです（香のテイスティングの時
途中でコーヒー豆の香を嗅ぐと匂いが鼻に残らず
テイスティングが続けられます）

マリーアントワネットを彷彿させるファッションをミニワンピ

スカートで今風にアレンジ。日本人のファッションに合いそうです。

koreanの友人宅へ行ってチジミやビビンバをご馳走になりました

コチジャンを沢山かけて食べていたら、『韓国人以上に辛いの

好きだね』と言われちゃいました！帰りはテムズ川沿いを散歩

しました。

Primrose Hill

お気に入りのプリムローズヒルへ・・・４時前だというのに薄暗く
なってきて、絶景が見渡せなかったのは残念ですが、それでも
ここの丘は気持が和みます。

いつもは何もない広場に突如移動遊園地事『fun fair』が登場

ぬいぐるみ獲得コーナーでは持って帰るのが大変そうな

巨大サイズしか置いてないです

バークレイホテルのハイティ（プレタポルテ）の秋冬バージョンです

バーバリーコートのクッキー・ウンガロ・ルイヴィトン等有名メゾンの

ファッションが見事にハイティで蘇ってます

Boxing Day

クリスマスの次の日はboxing dayという国民の休日でこの日から
ほとんどのデパート、ショップはセールがスタートします
(picture/harrods　イルミネーションがグリーンに変わりました）

リバティの裏手にまわるとリバティ柄の壁面が現れます。
イギリスを代表するプリントはそれだけで存在感があります
そしていつまでも色褪せません、周りが明るくなり落ち着きます。

クリスマスイブです！英国ではクリスマスは家で過ごすのが

一般的で（お店は閉まり、交通機関も動きません）イブは

その準備で街はとても静かです（午後にはお店は閉まります）

街中にいるのは観光客ぐらいです（ミレニアムブリッジ・

聖ポール大聖堂とテートモダンを結ぶ橋がミレニアム事業の一環

として建造、４本のワイヤーによって支えられている吊り橋です）

パネトーネ（大きなパンという意味）はクリスマスの時に食べる
イタリアの伝統的な菓子パンのひとつです。イタリアの習慣にも
関わらず、結構スーパーやカフェで見かけます。
この写真のように直径２０ｃｍはあって意外と大きめなのが
主流です。

x'mas marketヘ課外授業で来ました。が、寒いせいか生徒は

たったの４人・・・・でも本場のドイツソーセージを食べたり

授業を楽しみました。

garden cafe & bar

carnary streetで人気のカフェ。この日はテレビの取材が行われてました

メニューはバーガー・パスタ・クレープ中心で軽く食べるというより

ランチに最適です。

よく見ると中には虫？らしきものたちが・・・本物かどうかは？
でもスイーツコーナーにあるので一応食べれると思います。

インパクトのあるディスプレイです。

韓国人の友人がお気に入りの韓国レストランヘ連れて行って
くれました。偶然にも以前クラスメイトだった韓国人の子が
バイトをしていて色々サービスしてもらえました！

Christmas carolのリサイタルの前は全く降っていなかった雪が

短時間の間に積もってました！Christmas気分盛り上がります

ロイヤルアルバートホールにてクリスマス恒例のクリスマスキャロルの

リサイタルが行われました。合唱を聴くだけかと思いきや、席には

楽譜が置いてありリサイタルのほとんどの時間を観客とコーラス隊で

一緒になって合唱するスタイルでした。みんなでウエーブなんかもして

会場は一体化！クリスマスキャロルの４割位は知っている曲だったので

歌うことができました。

日中の明るい時にハイドパークのクリスマスマーケットにいきました。

スケートリンクもあってワクワクします！

abarcrombie&fitch

アバクロに行ったら夏は上半身裸のお兄さんが冬はさすがに
ジャケットを羽織ってました！が、筋肉は剥き出しな感じでした。

ここは新宿？！という位、東京っぽい場所が存在します。
通常ロンドンは古い街並みを残しているのですが、カナリーワーフ
だけは金融・IT系の企業を集積させて高層ビル群の街になってます
（カナリーウォーフの地下鉄駅はノーマンフォスター作・地下に
光が差し込む設計）

ハーベイ二コルズのディスプレイは他のデパートに比べいつも

幻想的で奇抜なものが多く毎シーズン楽しみにしています。

（反射しているので凄さが伝わりにくいかも・・・)
